JOVIT BALDIVINO – Family Feud Philippines paid tribute to the late singer through a video posted on social media.
The death of Pinoy singer Jovit Baldivino shocked a lot of people. At the age of 29, the Pinoy Got Talent season 1 grand champion passed away yesterday, December 9, at 4:00 a.m. as confirmed by the Baldivino family.
Jovit gained prominence when he joined the ABS-CBN reality talent search show Pilipinas Got Talent or more commonly called PGT. After his PGT stint, he remained in the music industry and was one of the performers in the Kapamilya Sunday program ASAP.
However, yesterday was one of the saddest days in the Philippine music industry as Jovit Baldivino passed away. According to his father, Mr. Hilario Baldivino, a few days ago, the singer had stroke after singing three (3) songs in a Christmas party where he was invited by a friend in Batangas City.
Based on an ABS-CBN News report, the father of the singer revealed that he also suffered from mild stroke last November 22 and was still under medication for hypertension then. His family expressed that he was advised not to sing while recovering but, at the Christmas party, he did not turn down the request of the crowd who wanted him to sing.
In the CTScan, a blood clot which was identified as a sign of aneurysm was found. Based on the report, he underwent surgery but he was not able to gain his consciousness back after the operation. He fought for his life for five days in the hospital before he died.
Countless people sent their sympathies to the family of Jovit Baldivino and their prayers for him. Family Feud PH where the singer had his last television appearance on its November 28, 2022 episode paid tribute to him by recalling his moments at the show.
On the caption of its Facebook post, Family Feud PH thanked Jovit and expressed hopes on his eternal peace. Here’s their tribute video posted on Facebook:
