Darryl Yap Wants Mother Sitang to Cameo for His Upcoming Film
Controversial director Darryl Yap invites Thailand personality Mother Sitang to play as a cameo in his upcoming film.
Darryl Yap took to his Facebook account to invite the transgender and Thailand internet sensation Sitangsu Buathong or better known as “Mother Sitang”. According to his post, he asked Mother Sitang to make a cameo in his upcoming film.
“Hi Mother Sitang, I am a problematic director from the Philippines, may I invite you to have a cameo for my upcoming film that will be shot 2nd quarter 2023?” said Yap in his Facebook post on Thursday.
The director noted that the Thailand controversial personality will have an important role in his movie. Yap, based on his post, also reminded Mother Sitang to bring pink outfits
“You will have a very important role, please bring pink outfits. Thanks,” he added in his post.
He did not mention who will play Mother Sitang in his upcoming film. However, what Yap tagged was not the official Facebook account of Mother Sitang. Meanwhile, the director’s fans seem to support the post. They said they already know who will play it.
The director of the third film, “Mabuhay Aloha Mabuhay,” or MaM, recently said that he is having trouble casting actors to portray the key roles. Yap is already on the lookout for performers to fill the character of former Vice President Atty. even before “Martyr or Murderer,” or MoM, the follow-up to “Maid in Malacanang,” or MiM, has begun to be viewed. Sara Duterte, the current vice president, and Leni Robredo.
