Dominic Ochoa received a loyalty award from Star Magic
Actor Dominic Ochoa was one of the Star Magic artists who received the loyalty award during the Star Magical Christmas event.
For 25 years, Dominic is being managed by the talent management company of the Kapamilya network. In his Instagram post, the actor expressed gratitude to his home network for more than two decades and the people who have helped him in the entertainment industry.
In his acceptance speech, based on the article in Balita, Dominic thanked ABS-CBN for always being there for him and for the continued opportunities that it has given to him. He also thanked his home network for allowing him to work with another network.
Dominic Ochoa is one of the cast members of the Kapuso drama series Abot Kamay Na Pangarap with Jillian Ward, Carmina Villarroel, and Richard Yap. He continues to do projects with ABS-CBN. The actor is also part of season 3 of the series Hoy, Love You! featuring the tandem of Joross Gamboa and Roxanne Ginoo on iWantTFC.
“I told myself, ‘Hangga’t nandito ang Star Magic, I would still be here.’ I started as a Kapamilya, I will end as a Kapamilya,” Dominic said.
A photo of Dominic taken during the said awarding ceremony was shared on the Facebook Page of Kapuso Alliance Fanpage.
“Proud Star Margarine daw si Dominic Ochoa! Pakiwalis nga ‘yan at pabalik sa kaniyang bakuran, ang daming puwedeng freelance artist ang magaling at ipagpalit sa kaniya tapos nagsalita pa siya eeewwssss…” the caption of the post stated.
This garnered different reactions from netizens. One said that the admin of the said page is just bitter while another pointed out that it is a normal thing now that stars are crossing over from one network to the other. Several netizens also pointed out that there was nothing wrong with Dominic Ochoa’s speech.
