Here’s a heartbreaking moment between singers Regine Velasquez and Kyla.
REGINE VELASQUEZ – Among the singers during the wake of Erik Santos’ mother are Regine Velasquez and Kyla and this happened.
Filipino singer Erik Santos mourns the death of his mother who died because of lung cancer. He quipped in his Instagram posts, “She is finally home with Jesus. I love you so much, Nanay,” and “Mahal na mahal na mahal kita, Nanay.”
The singer’s mother died at the age of 66 and the “I’ll Never Go” singer previously broke many hearts when he posted a heartfelt tribute to his late mother. He is happy with the thought that she is now in a much better place where there is “no more catheters, no more tests and scans, no more chemo, no more blood transfusion, no more oxygen tank, no more bed sores, no more diapers, and no more cancer”.
But what he would surely endure in her absence is missing her. He will miss everything about her from their random simple conversations to the moments she fought hard for them.
“Thank you very much for fighting for us until your very last breath. You have fought the good fight. Napaka tapang mo Nanay,” he said.
And just recently, she was laid to rest and in the middle of the sad event, a heartbreaking incident happened. This happened while singer Kyle sang “Tanging Yaman” in front of the people but too many emotions enveloped her. Her tears run down profusely and in the middle of her singing, she tends to make stops because she has to let out her cries and wipe her tears.
In the video that circulated online, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez was just sitting parallel to her, and at one point when Kyla broke down to tears, she did not hesitate to stand up and catch her based on a report from ABS-CBN.
