Gerald Anderson Speaks about Fellow Former PBB Housemate Sam Milby
GERALD ANDERSON – The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate made a revelation involving Sam Milby who is also a former PBB housemate.
Several personalities in the Philippine showbiz industry who have successful careers are former housemates of the ABS-CBN reality show Pinoy Big Brother. More commonly called PBB, it has aired several seasons or editions.
Some of the former PBB housemates had a short showbiz career while others managed to remain in the limelight for several years now after their PBB journey ended. Among the latter are Kapamilya actors Gerald Anderson and Sam Milby.
Sam was one of the housemates during the first-ever season of PBB. He entered on Day 28 but was evicted on Day 77. After several months, Gerald became part of the PBB: Teen Edition 1 where he finished as the 3rd placer.
Recently, Gerald Anderson and Sam Milby worked together in a project, the Kapamilya TV series A Family Affair. During the press conference for the finale of the TV series, Gerald made a revelation involving Sam.
Based on Pep, during the press con for the finale of A Family Affair, Gerald revealed that Sam was really his inspiration in joining PBB. He stressed that he was his “idol” and “standard”.
According to Gerald, he was in General Santos and was not yet aware much about the local shows in the country when a friend of him told him that he can join PBB. While they were playing billiards, Gerald’s friend told him that he got similar looks with a housemate inside the PBB house as he referred to Sam.
“Ikaw ang idol natin, ‘yung standard,” Gerald told Sam.
Sam and Gerald were with fellow Kapamilya actor and former PBB housemate Jameson Blake at the press conference. Referring to him, Gerald, and Blake, Sam joked that it is what they call “AFAM Affair” – “A Family Affair”.
