Moira Dela Torre and Jason Hernandez‘s marriage only lasted for three years. In an official statement, Jason confirmed their split which ultimately ended the rumors that have surrounded it for months, and in the same statement, he admitted that he was unfaithful. His unfaithfulness led to their separation.
The “Queen of Hugot Songs”, at that time when Jason confirmed that they are no longer together, did not speak a word as the statement from him contained everything including the reason why they separated.
But just recently, she finally broke her silence. She did not divulge any details about it but spoke about how it affected her life.
Accordingly, when 2022 started, she was having a weird feeling that she will be set to a new season in her life. She doesn’t know what it was back then but she was having that feeling.
Until she was told about it by her husband.
She lost herself and she also lost the drive to write songs. She said, “And when it happened, I just knew what to write. I didn’t get to write on my own for a while, I write because it’s work. Pero ‘yung expression ko talaga, ang tagal bago nangyari ulit. And it happened when that season ended and I started just writing.”
She walked on the process and it took her some time to get up again. But she knew that it was a process that she has to go through.
And when it happened, she realized that she’s been actually numbed for a long time. What just happened led her to a season where she’s finally aware of her worth. She’s able to take care of herself and enjoy her life whether it’s a bad day or good day.
“When I exited that season, I felt like I was released from prison. It felt like I was allowed to be the creative Moira that wrote ‘Malaya,’ and I lost her for a little bit. But now, I’m very careful with the people that I allow into my life, the projects that I allowed in my life,” she said.
This season has made her stronger and braver. She channeled her old self again in writing songs and she started unloading her loads through her songs based on a report from ABS-CBN.
