It’s only been just three years but the marriage of Moira Dela Torre and Jason Hernandez has already come to an end. Jason admitted that him, being unfaithful, was mainly the reason behind their separation. The Hugot singer, in an official statement after confirming their split, clarified that she did not cheat in their marriage and expressed her sadness over the fabricated stories surrounding their separation.

Here’s a timeline of their relationship:

They started being best friends before they became lovers. They were both music production students back then at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. They started from being friends for seven years to be best friends for three years.

Jason fell in love and he eventually started making his moves on her.

February 2017, after over a month of courtship, Moira officially made them a couple.

After a couple of years, in April 2018, Jason decided to take a step up and proposed to her. The whole proposal was included in the official music video of their song “Tagpuan”. And to date, it has now over 39 million views.

Jason and Moira have a garden wedding held at the Narra Hill in Tagaytay dubbed #AngTagpuan2019.

Everything in their marriage seemed all well in the past years. They wrote songs together and people were always in awe and admiration as to how Christ-centered their relationship was. It was filled with love, faith, and grace.

On their third anniversary, Jason wrote this message of love for her:

“God, thank You for my wife. I don’t deserve her yet here she is beside me. I’m not the most pogi but she looks at me like I’m the last slice of pepperoni stuffed crust pizza on earth. She’s sooo charming that everyone she meets likes her. Sometimes nga I get worried since I’m an introvert and I’m not as likable as her. But I’m also kinda relieved that she carries the socializing for the both of us.”

“She makes the best cookies, banana bread, and cinnamon rolls. She makes utos a lot but I secretly like it. I like that she needs me to hand her the remote that’s already beside her. As I learn more and more about her, the more I fall in love. The more I understand why she’s my destiny. Thank you that while we still have a lot to improve on, we get to do it together.
