Jake Cuenca is still in the process of moving on
Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca admitted that he has not moved on yet from his breakup with actress Kylie Verzosa.
Jake confirmed through a social media post last April that he and Kylie are no longer together. During the pandemic, the couple shared that they were already living together. After they broke up, Kylie moved out.
In a recent interview, after seven months since they broke up, Jake is still in the process of moving on. He said in an interview posted on the YouTube channel of entertainment reporter Vinia Vivar that he still needs time to completely heal.
Jake Cuenca said that he and Kylie Verzosa are okay but they are not yet in the stage of “nag-uusap.” On the other hand, he stressed that whatever he said in his posts about Kylie is true and he meant it.
The actor also shared that the said post was not edited and he just said what was in his heart. Even after months have passed, Jake admitted that he is not ready yet to talk about the breakup and share the details.
Right now, the actor said that he is not ready to fall in love again. He wants to focus on his career because he was not quite active for three years because of the pandemic.
When asked if he still cries because of the breakup, the actor answered, “Sabi nga ng tatay ko sa akin, three years ang relationship na yun so, ilagay mo ng one year and a half bago ka maka-move on completely. Wala pa tayo roon,” Jake Cuenca said.
The actor added that his past relationship was indeed serious because he was already able to say things with finality. However, the actor said that as he is older now, he understands that things in life will not always go the way he wants.
