Jake Cuenca found comfort amid a difficult time
Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca said that accepting the K-Love project is one of the best decisions he ever made because of this.
Jake is one of the prominent leading men of his generation. He has done various roles in teleseryes that prove his acting caliber. Over the years, he has earned the respect of his colleagues and the admiration of his fans.
His most recent acting project is a Viu series with Iza Calzado, Isabelle Daza, Sue Ramirez, and Gabby Padilla. Based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, although Jake is the only man in the cast, it was not difficult for him to do this stint.
He said that it was a fun experience for him and through this project, his mind was taken away from what he was thinking at that time. “I was very fortunate that I was cast in this because everyone was my friend,” Jake Cuenca said.
The actor admitted that he was going through a tough time when he did this series. It was during the height of his breakup with Kylie Verzosa. Being part of this project is something that makes him thankful.
“It was one of the best decisions I ever made. I was going through a lot of things while I was doing this. But these girls, everyone, they really, really willed me to the finish line with this one. They really took care of me and it was worth my time. It really was,” Jake said.
Jake also shared that his character Jay in K-Love resembles his brother. It is because his brother is the opposite of him. “He’s nice, super conservative, smart guy and I saw my brother in him. Right away I loved him,” the actor said. He said that he loves his brother and appreciates his being nice and genuine.
