Celeste Cortesi Says Miss Universe Owner Anne Jakrajutatip Won’t Be Biased To Thailand
MISS UNIVERSE – Philippines’ bet Celeste Cortesi is confident that the new owner of the Miss Universe pageant Anne Jakrajutatip won’t be biased toward Thailand.
The online poll for the 71st pageant edition of the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) recently opened. Out of the 79 delegates who are officially listed on the 2022 roster, Silvia Celeste Cortesi, the reigning Miss Universe Philippines, stands out in her headshot.
This early, Celeste was selected by fan pages as one of the top 10 candidates. In order to be ready for the finals in January, Celeste and her crew will fly to the United States by mid-December.
Celeste Cortesi’s pasarela training videos have surfaced online. All of her clips have shown her in tip-top shape.
In a videotaped interview with Jonas Gaffud, creative director of MUPH, Celeste is seen slaying the studio’s marked walkways. She has excellent runway agility. Her significantly improved pasarela displayed excellent footwork and quickly executed fast twirls and professional poses.

Celeste Cortesi also immersed herself in Q&A (question and answer) sessions with her team in addition to her pasarela training, and she used her initiatives and advocacy work with the MUPH organization to reach out to beneficiaries. During their trip to Lanao del Sur for the Life Changer for Children Program, she said “It is only by realizing that everything is interconnected that we are reminded of how our actions can make a big impact.”
She and her fellow beauty queens visited the area to help children, their families, and communities that were most affected by poverty, inequality, discrimination, and a lack of access to basic needs.
In a media interview she gave earlier this week to promote her debut as the cover girl of a new digital magazine, Celeste Cortesi talked about the new owner of Miss Universe.
When asked if she believes that the new Thai owner may be biased toward Thailand, the Filipina-Italian beauty queen responded, “I believe that nothing is going to change now with Miss Universe – everything will be fair. And I’m just focusing now in my preparations. I feel like I just want to meet her. I feel like she’s very nice, very open, and she’s a boss. She’s a woman. So I’m very happy about that!”
“To be honest, I think everyone has a chance. Everyone is beautiful. Everyone has a purpose and very, very intelligent. I don’t want to compare myself to others. I just want to focus on my own journey…”
“I just want to meet everyone. I want to meet the new owner. I want to meet the new candidates and start making memories,” she added.
