CELESTE CORTESI – Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi has this reaction after receiving false stories from pageant fans of Thailand.

Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi will represent the country in this year’s Miss Universe international pageant. She is the first winner of the local beauty pageant to wear the La Mer En Majeste crown, the brand new Php 3 million crown of the prestigious pageant.

The other winners who tailed her were:

2nd Runner-Up: Miss Taguig Katrina Llegado
1st Runner-Up:
Miss Misamis Oriental Annabelle McDonnell
Miss Universe Philippines Charity 2022:
Miss Bohol Pauline Cucharo Amelinckx
Miss Universe Philippines Tourism:
 Miss Makati City Michelle Dee

As much as many are aware, the Philippines is considered a powerhouse of beauty queens. Filipina beauty always stands out in different pageants and for Miss Universe alone, the country has already notched four crowns.

But just recently, circulating online are the edited photos of the reigning MUPH queen. These edited photos came from a page online owned and operated by Thai pageant fans. Their posts made issues against the Pinay beauty queen.

And clapping back to this, Celeste addressed the cyberbullying she suffered because of these photos with malicious insinuations about her. She received insults and threats. She had a conversation with someone previously and she hopes that the talk would somehow help to lessen the “unnecessary bullying”.

She also discouraged her fans to fight back and engage with any form of hate instead, what she wants her fans to do is to spread kindness online using the hashtag #kindnesscampaign.
