Post About Wowowin Hiring Dancers with P70k Monthly Salary is Fake
The post about the show of Willie Revillame ‘Wowowin’ hiring dancers with a monthly salary of P70,000 is reportedly fake.
A Facebook user with the name Anna Feliciano, the choreographer for “Wowowin,” recently gained popularity on social media for an alleged job advertisement. For the show, Anna is apparently looking for fresh dancers.
She requests that hopefuls send in samples of their dancing. The dancers will “stay-in/out” in the Wil Tower from Monday through Saturday from 7 to 8:30 p.m., according to the post.
Additionally, the post promised that contracted dancers will receive a monthly wage of P70,000. However, the real Anna Feliciano refuted this in a Facebook live video on Monday, November 14.
Fake account po ito,” Feliciano said while showing the account of her poser.
Feliciano stated that Tita A. Feliciano is the name on her actual Facebook account. She added that she doesn’t use social media. She claims that the auditions she holds will be conducted via video chat.
As of the time of publication, the Facebook post displaying the fake job advertisement received more than 15,000 reactions, 33,000 comments, and more than 50,000 shares. Many people were also tagging their friends in the comments who are considering applying.
