The Unihertz Tank was officially announced on October 30, 2022, and released on November 3, 2022. The rugged smartphone is kept on by a 22,000 mAh Li-Po built-in battery + 66W fast charging.
Body & Display:
The smartphone is built with a glass front and a plastic body. It comes with a screen size of 6.81 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
Platform:
The device is powered by Mediatek Helio G99 (6 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G57 MC2. It runs on the Android 12 operating system. It is packed with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The storage option can be expanded up to 512GB using an extra memory card via a dedicated card slot.
Main Camera:
The rear camera of the Unihertz Tank consists of a 108-megapixel + 20-megapixel (night vision) + 2-megapixel (macro). It features autofocus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, HDR, touch focus, face detection, Quad IR LED flash (Night Vision), and Dual LED flash (main camera).
Selfie Camera:
For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 16-megapixel camera. It features FaceID.
Sensors on the smartphone include fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, and compass. It also features USB Type-C 2.0, Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, hotspot, NFC, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and Galileo.
