ALEX GONZAGA – Actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga shares an epic story and the mistake she made when she made a reservation in a Michelin restaurant.
Michelin star is a highly coveted status. This is “now considered a hallmark of fine dining by many of the world’s top chefs”. And this is not easy to get. This status is given to the best ones. This prestige and honor also increase the business after receiving the stars.
And for their wedding anniversary, Alex Gonzaga wanted nothing but the best to have a meal with her husband businessman and politician Mikee Morada on their special day. She made a reservation in a Michelin stared-restaurant but made a mistake.
She made a reservation her desired restaurant but on a different branch which is in New York. She was also shocked by her mistake and has to find other ways to not waste it because of the place’s “no refund, only transfer” policy.
In an Instagram story, Alex shared, “Story time. I reserved and prepaid our set menu in a fancy Michelin star restaurant for our anniv. Cut two, NYC branch pala ang na-book ko and no refund only transfer so I asked my tito and tita to eat our anniv date for us in NYC.”
She then added, “Happy anniv to us, Mikee. This could’ve been us but tatanga-tanga asawa mo.”

This year, Alex and Mikee are celebrating their second wedding anniversary. After a year of being engaged, the two tied the knot in a simple wedding ceremony attended by their closest family and friends. Despite the pandemic, they pushed through with their wedding.
Gonzaga and Morada tied the knot at their residence in Taytay, Rizal and they were in a relationship for four years before they got married.
