Herlene Budol Teaches Fellow Miss Planet International Candidates The Song “Moon”
HERLENE BUDOL – Filipina beauty queen Herlene Budol taught her fellow Miss Planet Internaltional the viral song “Moon.”
Herlene Budol a.k.a. “Hipon Girl” shocked the netizens by showcasing her versatility by switching from a comedian to a beauty queen. She now competes as the Philippines’ representative in Miss Planet International 2022 after winning the national pageant Binibining Pilipinas 2022 first runner-up.
Miss Planet International 2022 will be held in Kampala, Uganda on November 19. The reigning queen Monique Best of South Africa will crown the new queen. The crown costs about $250,000.
Herlene Budol recently shared a heartwarming video on her Instagram account. In the said video taken by her talent manager Wilbert Tolentino, Herlene could be seen having an endearing moment with several kids in Uganda. She and the Ugandan kids cheerfully chanted “Philippines.”
Tolentino also uploaded a Youtube vlog showing the 23-year-old beauty queen bonding with her fellow Miss Planet International 2022 candidates. Hipon seems to be having a great time in the country. One clip shows her teaching Tagalog words and phrases to another beauty queen.

Just recently, the video of Herlene Budol teaching her fellow Miss Planet International contestants the song “Moon” by Nik Makino went viral on social media. Many of Herlene’s fans were happy with how she was able to get along and make friends even though it was difficult for her to speak English fluently.
The candidates gamely sang and danced with the Pinay comedian. The video was uploaded on MPI – Planet Update’s Facebook page.
