Ken Chan shared something about his past relationships
Kapuso actor Ken Chan revealed that he had several ghosting experience in the past and this is the reason why his ex-girlfriends left him.
Ken rose to fame through his series My Special Tatay with actress-singer Rita Daniela. From that, he was given more remarkable roles that helped boost his acting career. Aside from his success in showbiz, the actor also found success in the field of business.
However, for several times, when it comes to relationship, he experienced failures. In a recent interview on Updated with Nelson Canlas podcast, based on the article in Bandera, Ken was asked if he has experienced being ghosted. He said that it happened so many times already.
“Maraming beses na. Ako ‘yung iniwan. Maraming beses na ‘ko. Most of the time lagi nilang sinasabi wala raw kasi akong time sa kanila,” Ken Chan shared. He also said that this is the reason why he is still single right now. It is because he is afraid of courting women and having a girlfriend again.
“Para akong nagkaroon ng phobia na iwan ulit ng dahil sa time,” he added. Ken explained that he is busy attending his business venture as well as doing his showbiz engagements. With this, he was ghosted several times because of his lack of time for his girlfriend.
When asked if he ghosted a girl in the past, Ken said that he does not want to sound that he is making himself look spotless but he can’t count what he did in the past as ghosting because ahead of time, he already talked to the girl in person.
“So kasi para sa akin ang ghosting ‘yung bigla na lang nawala na walang pasintabi,”the actor said, adding that he is not talking about women in showbiz. On the other hand, Ken said that he is open to having a relationship with someone from the entertainment industry but he said that as much as possible, he wants a partner who is not from showbiz.
Ken Chan also shared his advice to people who are not yet ready to enter into a relationship. He said if you realize that you are not ready and you think that the person is not the one yet, you should get out of the relationship properly.
“’Wag lang yung bigla kang mawawala na parang bula. Kausapin mo, mag-explain ka at mag-sorry ka and I think that the best way to do it,” the actor stressed.
