Ogie Diaz talked about Karen Davila and Korina Sanchez in his recent vlog
Rumor has it that there is a conflict between seasoned journalists Korina Sanchez and Karen Davila, and here is what talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz revealed about this.
For the longest time, some people believe that Korina and Karen are not okay with each other. Somehow, the public has imposed a rivalry between the two journalists, especially during the time when Korina was still in ABS-CBN.
Just recently, Korina featured Karen in her Korina Interviews shows. Through this episode, the two journalists addressed the rumored “awayan” between them. In a recent Showbiz Update vlog that Ogie uploaded, they talked about the Korina Sanchez-Karen Davila issue.
The talent manager-vlogger said that since he also did a program under news and current affairs, he was able to hear some stories regarding Korina and Karen. He said that it is a good thing that coming from the two journalists, they don’t have any conflict with each other.
“Pero iba yung naririni ko,” Ogie said but jokingly added his “no comment” remark. However, in a serious tone, the talent manager said that he heard from the news department of the Kapamilya network that Korina had a “habilin” and that she does not want Karen to replace her when she leaves TV Patrol.
Ogie added that there are negative remarks also that reached Karen’s camp from Korina’s camp. However, the talent manager said that there is no confirmation about this. “Pero di naman tayo sure kung totooo yun.”
Then, Ogie said that he like Korina’s frankness in identifying the people she likes or not even though she receives negative feedback because of this. “Pero ang awayan na ‘to, matagal na yan eh,” the talent manager said.
He also shared that his and Karen’s common friend shared that the journalist would ask, “Ano ang kasalanan ko? Wala naman akong ginagawa sa kaniyang masama?” When Mama Loi said that people might say that Ogie is just inventing this, the talent manager said that he is just sharing what he heard.
