On a rare chance, Popstar Sarah Geronimo personally pens a message for her parents and family.
SARAH GERONIMO – Years after the secret wedding, Sarah Geronimo apologized to her parents in this message.
One of the famous people very private in her personal life is Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo. She is married to actor Matteo Guidicelli and their wedding which happened way back on February 20, 2020, was the most controversial. They got married at Victory Church, The Fort, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
It was supposed to be just a secret wedding but the story about Sarah’s mother making a scene during the celebration emerged online.
Sarah never talked about this and just let this issue die down. But her relationship with her parents seemingly gone on a rough patch after that secret wedding is an open secret.
And just recently, in a very rare chance, the Popstar opened up about this in a message she personally penned and posted on her social media page. Amid the onslaught of tropical storm Paeng, as Sarah reminded people to stay safe and dry, she smoothly transitioned her message to the core of it.
In the message, she apologized to her parents. She asked forgiveness for what she did and for the life decisions she’s taken without their knowledge.
She apologized to her parents and to her siblings for choosing to do what she did. But what she is sure of is that she did not miss a day without thinking about them and without missing them.
“Mahal na mahal ko kayo.. daddy at mama ko. araw-araw ko po kayong nami-miss at naiisip,” she expressed.
She also added some words and thoughts about the controversies she’s been going through as a public figure.
“Napakadali din para sa atin na manghusga at magbigay ng opinyon sa buhay ng iba. Wala tayong kontrol sa pag-iisip nila, ang pinakaimportante ay alam mo kung ano ang katotohanan sa puso mo. The truth is in the end, it’s just really between you and God,” she expressed.
And for the Geronimo family, she shared that they have always been her inspiration to make music that inspires other people and serves them happiness. And despite her successes, the real success and happiness for her are to be with them in peace while she’s still alive.
