Carla Abellana loves to watch horror films
Kapuso actress Carla Abellana shared that she has a lot of horror stories and this has become a part of her childhood.
When this season comes, a lot of people love to celebrate Halloween and would enjoy sharing the horror stories they experienced. There are people also who really enjoys watching horror movies any time of the year and one of them is Carla.
Based on the article in Pang-Masa, the Kapuso star admitted that she is a fan of horror films but she is also a “matatakutin.” Carla said that she can’t sleep without lampshades or any light, like coming from a muted television.
“Mahilig po ako (sa horror) pero sobrang matatakutin. Medyo contrasting, pero na-enjoy ko po ‘yun,” Carla Abellana shared. When asked if she has experienced a frightening incident, the actress said that she has experienced a lot and these were parts of her childhood.
“Very old na po ‘yung bahay na ‘yun, talagang marami po kaming na-experience doon, naging parte na po siya ng aking childhood,” she said. Carla also said that the most frightening one was during the time when she heard someone crying.
She said that it was different. “Natakot po ako no’n and at the same time, naawa. Maliit na boses lang po siya, very high pitch, tapos umiiyak siya. Hindi po siya aso or pusa or whatever,” the actress explained.
Despite being a “matatakutin,” Carla said that she got excited when she offered to do an episode of Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko. After two months of season break, the said Kapuso show is returning.
Based on the article in Abante, when the actress read the script featuring the zombies, this brought excitement to her. “Napakalaking fan ko po ng horror, marami pong may alam diyan,” she said.
The episode that features Carla Abellana is titled Game Over. She is joined by Althea Ablan, Cassy Legaspi, Matt Lozano, Will Ashley and Luis Hontiveros.
