Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson shared the reason why does not flex his achievements on social media.
Gerald is one of the top actors of ABS-CBN. From his stint in Pinoy Big Brother house, the actor was able to establish his name as one of the most sought-after leading men of his generation.
Amid all his achievements in the entertainment industry, Gerald said that he is not fond of flashing this online, based on the article in Manila Bulletin. He said that he does not want to get attention because of this.
“Hindi mo kailangan laging patunayan yung sarili mo or ‘yung parang laging naghahanap ka ng attention. Kasi, kapag naghahanap ka ng attention – and then sa social media mo pa ito hinahanap – it can be very dangerous,” Gerald Anderson.
He also said that there are things that should be flexed for everybody but there are also those that should be flexed for family or for himself only. When asked what are the things he wants to flex the most, Gerald said, “My happiness. My situation in life.”
He explained that it is because he is happy and contented at the age of 33. However, the actor said that he is still motivated to achieve more. Gerald also said that he acknowledges more achievements that will come his way.
“So, my biggest flex, at least right now is yung sitwasyon ko – being happy, being content but also still wanting to achieve more,” he said.
The actor was also asked why he considers his girlfriend Julia Barretto as the love of his life. “Yung pagiging supportive niya sa akin ay kakaiba. I think yun yung key factor kung bakit ang dami naming nalagpasan,” Gerald Anderson said.
