102-Year-Old Grandma w/ Over 100 Grandkids Earns Praises for Having No Maintenance Medicines
A 102-year-old grandma with over 100 grandchildren earned praise online for having no maintenance medicines despite her old age.
Lola Leonora Ibay of Lubao, Pampanga was still strong despite her old age. She has no maintenance medicines and doesn’t have any major illnesses despite living for 102 years in the world.
The centenarian grandma has 12 children and more than 100 grandchildren. She also revealed that God and her family give her the strength to live. The love of her kids and grandchildren maintains her physical body strong.
“Ewan ko bakit hindi ako tumatanda. Nasa Diyos ‘yan at sa mga bata, sa mga anak ko,” Lola Leonora said.
The elderly grandma’s children revealed that their love and care for Lola Leonora give her joy and a healthy body.
“Siyempre noong maliit kami siya ang nag-alaga, tapos papabayaan mo ‘pag tumanda? Hindi maganda yun,” Aurora Ibay said.
Meanwhile, the government unit gives a cash incentive worth PP100,000 aside from the financial assistance given by the national government for centenarians.
Pampanga provincial government explained that the cash incentives were their way to express their gratitude for the contribution of senior citizens with age 95 and above.
Ibay Family’s story might serve as an inspiration to all Filipino people to love their parents, especially the elderly who took care of them.
