Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda and Kapuso singer Zephanie Dimaranan met at a recent after the controversy and this is what happened.
To recall, a controversy surfaced between Vice and Zephanie when the comedian-host gave a meaningful message to the winner of Idol Philippines Season 2. Zephanie was the winner of the first season.
Vice said to this year’s winner to stay in ABS-CBN and remain a Kapamilya. Early this year, Zephanie transferred to GMA. With this, fans of the young singer thought that the comedian-host was subtly attacking the first Idol PH winner.
Even entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin defended the Kapuso singer against Vice Ganda. GMA also shared a message amid this issue. Zephanie Dimaranan’s home network said that she will continue to “sparkle”.
In a recent showbiz event, the Kapuso singer and the Kapamilya comedian-host met, talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared. In a video that Ogie shared in his recent showbiz update vlog, Zephanie was seed walking toward Vice, and “beso-beso” happened.
It can be heard that Vice said that the issue that surfaced between them was “nakakaloka.” Zephanie agreed with what the comedian-host said. She added that she knows that it was an issue created and fueled by the people.
“They will always make a big deal out of a very simple thing,” Vice said. Talking to Ogie, Vice reiterated that people created an issue between him and Zephanie. It can be heard that Ogie said that people did not understand the joke.
Vice Ganda said that it was easy for people to put meaning to what others would say. Ogie added that they did not know that Zephanie was the comedian’s personal choice in the contest. “Baby ko ‘yan,” the Unkabogable Star said.
