Grade 12 Student Allegedly Removed from 4Ps List Ends Own Life
A Grade 12 Senior High School student has ended his own life after allegedly being removed from the list of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries.
A senior high school student in Barangay New Minarog, Motiong, Samar, hanged himself in his home. The victim was identified as 19-year-old Grade 12 student Lorence Baldoza Cabano, a local of the region.
The younger son’s parents reportedly discovered him dead at 7 a.m. on October 14, 2022, according to the PNP Motion’s investigation. They as a result informed the authorities about the occurrence right away.
He was expelled from the 4Ps program because he had problems getting to school, according to the report. Based on the post of Iloilo News Online, the police assumed that this was the cause of his suicide.
