Class Suspensions Declared in These Areas for Friday (October 14, 2022)
WALANG PASOK – Several local government units have declared class suspensions in some areas due to Tropical Depression Neneng.
Tropical Depression Neneng has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility. Neneng has been last spotted 1,015 kilometers east of extreme Northern Luzon. It has maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center, and gustiness of up to 70 kph.
The tropical depression is expected to bring heavy rains over some parts of the country. It may also cause flooding and rain-induced landslides. It is expected to move west-southwestward in the next 24 hours before turning westward on Saturday (October 15, 2022).
PAGASA is also monitoring an active tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. It was last located 405 kilometers north northwest of PAGASA Island, Palawan with maximum sustained winds at 55 kilometers per hour and gustiness up to 70 kph.
On Friday (October 14, 2022), various LGUs declared class suspensions due to inclement weather brought on by Tropical Depression Neneng.

- Abulug – Pre-school to Senior High School
- Allapacan – All levels (Public and Private)
- Aparri – All levels (Public and Private)
- Gonzaga – All levels (Public and Private)
- Sanchez Mira – All levels (Public and Private)
The classes have been suspended to ensure the safety of students and school employees from any form of threat due to Tropical Depression Neneng.
