JAMES REID – Kapamilya actor-singer James Reid shares a song he made for Nadine Lustre called “Always Been You”.

Last November 2019, the former love team and former real-life couple Nadine Lustre and James Reid decided to part ways. But it was in the early months of 2020 did they confirm it through a joint official statement.

In the past interviews, Nadine shared that she was “pretty much in limbo” for over a year after it happened. But what helped her in moving on and help her heal from the split is by taking things slow.

To recall, despite the split, the two remained working together. Nadine launched her music career under James’ label in 2020. She attested to how taking time can make wonders in healing a person’s broken heart.

After their split, Nadine fell in love with Siargao and she also found a new love months after the split. She is currently in a relationship with a non-showbiz businessman.

Meanwhile, James remained single. He is being linked to Momoland’s Nancy McDonnie but he refused to share details about their real score.

And currently, making a loud buzz online are these two. On Twitter, a video of James sharing the song he made for his ex-girlfriend circulated online.

He said in the video: “This next one is called ‘Always Been You’, this one I wrote about Nadine”

This has made their fans go crazy. Despite their split, a huge fraction of their fanbase did not lose hope. Many remained to love them even though they are no longer together.

Here are some of the lines from this song:

Ooh babe
Missin’ what I never had
It’s always been you
When everybody gets in the mood
I’ll always end up kissin’ with you
Kissin’ with you
Oh babe
Wasted time, I want it back
I’ll spend it with you
Can’t hide it when I know that it’s true
‘Cause I know that it’s always been you
