Daniel Matsunaga & Model Julia Nunes Have Been Dating For More Than a Year

DANIEL MATSUNAGA – Brazilian actor-model Daniel Matsunaga admitted in an interview that he and Julia Nunes have been dating for quite some time already.

Daniel Matsunaga is a Brazilian actor, host, and model. He is one of the most well-known figures in the Philippine show business. He also joined in and won the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother (PBB): All In in 2014.

The actor has dated known actresses in the country such as Heart Evangelista and Erich Gonzales. His relationship with Gonzales even ended in an ugly breakup.

Daniel Matsunaga, who will turn 34 in November, has been involved lately with mostly non-showbiz ladies. Daniel dated Los Angeles-based Polish model Karolina Pisarek in 2017. Despite living far apart, they remained a couple for two years. But the two decided to end their relationship in 2019.

The 33-year-old celebrity was recently spotted with his present girlfriend, Julia Nunes. His new beau is also a Brazilian model.

Based on a report from Philstar, Julia Nunes was a model for Macbeth clothes, which is now celebrating its 20th year in business. The event took place last weekend at Pasig City’s Metrotent Convention Center.

“I’m only supporting my friends, that’s why I’m here,” Daniel said.

“Super nice ang event. Ang daming food. The fashion show was great and their clothes are really nice,” he added.

Daniel revealed that he and Julia have been dating for over a year. Yet, he denied that they had any wedding plans, though.

“Hindi pa. Malayo pa,” Daniel said.

Daniel seems to be staying out of any controversy with his girlfriend. More than a year ago, they first connected in Manila. He and the model met here in Manila more than a year ago.

Last February, the actor dropped a hint on Instagram when he posted a photo of a woman with him at El Nido in Palawan. At that time, he had not yet revealed the identity of Nunes.
