Police Authorities Arrest Naughty Man for Repeatedly Groping Female Co-Worker
MANILA, PHILIPPINES – A naughty man has been arrested for allegedly groping his female co-worker a couple of times.
The 53-year-old suspect identified as Joel Agno has been arrested for disrespecting and touching the private body part of his female employee at a restaurant in Malate. He has been arrested with a power of arrest warrant.
Pandacan Police Station warrant section chief Police Lieutenant Jonna Herrera said that the groping incident reportedly happened on August 10, 16, and 17, 2022, according to the victim’s statement.
“Matapos siyang hipuan, itong si [biktima], sa maselang bahagi ng katawan, nagsampa agad ito ng kaso sa piskalya dito sa Manila City Hall,” Herrera said.
The suspect did not resist arrest and peacefully surrendered to the police authorities. However, Agno denied the accusations against him and explained that the victim filed a case after he decided to terminate her for being unprofessional at work.
“Nung nasabihan ko siya noong August 21 na tatanggalin ko siya dahil lumalaban siya sa akin, nakikipagsagutan, matigas ang ulo, sinabihan ko siya na ipapa-terminate ko siya, dun siya nagsampa ng kaso,” the accused stressed out.
Agno also explained that he has ‘polio’ and considers himself a person with a disability. The latter said that he could not such a thing because of his medical condition.
“Kung totoo ang sinasabi niyang iyon, dapat nung oras o petsa na iyon puwede niya akong ireklamo at sabihan na may ginawa ako. At kung ginawa ko iyon sa opisina, puwede niya akong itulak kasi PWD ako, mas malaki siya sa akin,” Agno said.
The cops told Agno to explain and defend himself in court.
