Alden Richards is a watch collector
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards has a lot of expensive items among them are his luxury watch collection.
Alden is one of the showbiz personalities who know how to handle finances very well. He knows how to save and invest his money in various businesses. Aside from his restaurants and fast food chain franchise, he recently ventured into producing events through his Myriad Entertainment Corporation.
With all his success in showbiz, the actor does not forget to give back to the community. He has been supporting college students through his AR Foundations. Looking at his track record in the industry, Alden Richards deserves to have what he wants.
In a recent Preview interview, the Kapuso star shared that he started having a fascination with watches when he was in high school. He said that this accessory is always part of his outfit. “Feeling ko pag wala akong relo, nakahubad ako,” he said.
Initially, he did not realize that buying luxury watches is actually an investment. Alden said that certain watches have value appreciation over the years which means that he can sell his watch for a much higher price than the price when he bought it.
The actor shared his favorite designer watches which are not often seen by many. Among the timepieces that he showed is the Vacheron Constantine Overseas Chronograph. Alden also owns an IWC Pilot’s Watch Mark XX and Portugeiser Automatic in Rose Gold.
He also showcased his Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 116509. Alden said that his favorite watch is the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 116508. This is in yellow gold and has a green face finish. The actor shared that this watch is also called “The John Mayer Watch.”
Alden Richards said that he hopes one day, there will be a watch that will be named after him. Another Rolex that was included in his favorites is the Rolex GMT-Master II 126719 and which is also called the “Pepsi Watch” and the “Superman Rolex” because of its blue and red color.
