Bea Alonzo was asked about the negative reactions she gets
Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo admitted that the harsh words she receives from her bashers are painful to her.
Bea has a huge fandom but just like other celebrities, she also has her fair share of encounters with bashers or haters. Within her more than 20 years in the industry, it is inevitable that there were those who do not like her and there are those who are very expressive about this.
During a recent media conference for her new series Start-Up PH with Alden Richards, based on the article in Bandera, Bea was asked to react to her bashers. She gave her honest answer to this question.
“Siyempre hindi ako magiging ipokrita. Sometimes, nasasaktan ako. Kasi, tao lang ako,” Bea Alonzo said. She stressed that bashers would just say things without even thinking that as a human being, she might get hurt as well.
“Tao yung pinagsasabihan nila. May emosyon, nasasaktan,” the actress added. She said when this situation happens, she just lets herself get hurt because she is human. The actress also said that she can’t just shake this off as this kind of situation has to go through her own process. “Gano’n talaga ang buhay,” Bea said.
On the other hand, the actress said that there are criticisms that keep her motivated. These kinds of comments inspire her to do better in her job. She said that she chooses the criticisms that will help her.
Bea believes that there are things that she does not need in her life and these things might just cause harm to her. She said that she gladly receives criticism from people who really love her and her fans who would say negatively about a certain project.
Bea Alonzo acknowledges that she is not perfect, she has done some mistakes, and she is not good at doing certain things. “With bashing, ayaw mo naman kasi na maka-apekto yun sa energy mo. I always try protecting my energy,” the actress stressed.
