Jay Sonza Shared He Already Warned Percy Lapid About His Fierce Commentaries
Veteran journalist Jay Sonza shared that he already warned slain broadcaster Percy Lapid about his fierce commentaries.
Sonza used his Facebook page to express his condolences to Percy Mabasa, also known as Percy Lapid, the killed journalist. Recall that Lapid was ambushed on October 3 while he was entering a subdivision in Las Pias City.
Lapid is particularly outspoken in his Facebook posts, especially when it comes to criticizing corrupt politicians and public figures. Sonza said that he was renowned for his scathing criticism of public servants.
Sonza also couldn’t help but draw parallels between Lapid and the late Davao City writer Jun Pala, who was likewise known for his frank remarks. He always told the presenter to “keep to the problems, not the people,” he claimed.
Be extra security conscious,” Sonza said.
