PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Monday (October 3, 2022)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that fair weather condition is expected over the country except for scattered rainshowers due to the easterlies.

On Monday (October 3, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) released the latest weather update in the country. the easterlies and localized thunderstorms will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the Easterlies will be affecting the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas. The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Mindanao. Fair weather is expected nationwide expected for scattered rains.

“Dahil sa easterlies, inaasahan po natin ang maulap na kalangitan na may kalat-kalat na pag-ulan at thunderstorm sa Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, at kasama na rin ang Bicol region,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.

The easterlies will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon. Possible flash floods or landslides may be possible due to at times heavy rains.

The ITCZ/Localized Thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country. flash floods may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the northern and eastern sections of Luzon will be moderate. The remaining parts of the country will be slight to moderate, according to the weather agency.

The weather bureau reported that the sun rises at 5:46 am while the sun will set at 5:44 pm.
