Rabiya Mateo shared her life story
Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo talked about a particular scene in her episode of Kapuso drama anthology Magpakailanman.
Two years ago, Rabiya joined the prestigious national beauty pageant. Because of that opportunity, she was able to have the chance to be in the entertainment industry. The Ilongga beauty has become a TV host and an actress as well.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Rabiya admitted that she still wants to improve as a host. She said that she is inspired to be better every time she will have the chance to be with seasoned news anchors Mel Tiangco and Vicky Morales.
Rabiya is one of the hosts of TickToClock. In this hosting stint, she is working together with Kim Atienza and Pokwang.
For her recent acting stint, Rabiya Mateo portrayed herself in her own life story. There was one scene in Magpakailanman that was really memorable for her. She remembered vividly the emotion that she had when that situation happened.
She is thankful to give inspiration to other people through her life story but this scene was not easy for her to relive.
“May scene kasi doon na parang kinukuha na ‘yung mga appliances namin at before that sabi ko, ‘Direk, sandali lang po ha, kakarga lang po muna ako,’ kasi iniisip ko siya sa utak ko na, ‘Oo nangyari ‘to e, totoo talaga ‘to, hindi lang ‘to basta drama e, na-experience ko ‘to, iniyakan ko ‘to,’ at ngayon parang ise-share ko ‘yung istoryang ‘yun sa mga Kapuso natin so actually mabigat siya, hindi madaling alalahanin lahat ng pain,” Rabiya shared.
After two years of being in the industry, the beauty queen expressed that she is happy with everything that she has achieved. She shared that in the past, she was just watching TV at their neighbor’s house, and now she appears on TV. Rabiya Mateo said that she is grateful to reach this point.
