Andrew E Trends Online After Netizens Rumored He Will Endorse Lazada
Filipino rapper Andrew E trends on Twitter after netizens rumored that he will be hired by Lazada as an endorser amid the rival platform issue.
The speculation that a rapper-actor would be the new ambassador for an e-commerce app is now buzzing on Twitter. Online users are sharing this after photo of Andrew E as the new ambassador for Lazada.
As a result, certain internet users, particularly the “Kakampinks” or supporters of former president Leni Robredo, incite new rage. Those who remember Ultimate Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga may remember that she has been the target of criticism since “Shopee” chose her to be the new ambassador.
“Toni G for Shopee and Andrew E for Lazada? Online shopping addiction cured,” a netizen wrote on Twitter.
“Totoo yung Andrew for Lazada??? Perhaps this formally signals you go back na and out to the old offline ways to buy and support businesses,” another said.
“Just unstalled Shoppe because of Marcos’ apologist Toni but now Andrew E for Lazada too? Salamat Shopee & Lazada, salamat 31M at mababawasan ang magdo-doorbell samin!” another netizen shared.
Meanwhile, the teaser image of Lazada featuring Andrew E’s alleged silhouette is only a fan art by another humorous internet user. The aforementioned image is allegedly phony and edited.
Lazada, an online shopping company, did not publish any photos teasing the new endorser. Additionally, Lazada made no announcement regarding the addition of a new endorser.
