Singaporean Man Receives Complaints From Neighbors For Using 9 Aircon Units Simultaneously
A Singaporean man turns on his nine air-conditioning units simultaneously prompting his neighbors to complain.
An air conditioning unit cools your home with a cold indoor coil called the evaporator. The condenser, a hot outdoor coil, releases the collected heat outside. The evaporator and condenser coils are serpentine tubing surrounded by aluminum fins. This tubing is usually made of copper.
Most commercial buildings and some house owners were using air conditioners to cool an enclosed space. However, users should also limit the usage of this appliance to save energy and prevent other troubles.
A 63-year-old man identified as Huang has turned on his air-conditioning units simultaneously in his small apartment in Sengkang, Singapore. The guy has been using all of his aircon units 24/7.
The tenant’s activity resulted in a condensation of the entire building and causes black mold in several units. One of the tenants had to clean its unit due to water leaking from Huang’s room.
The residents living in the nearby building expressed their concern due to forming black molds on walls and ceilings, which may pose risk to their health.
According to Huang, he is using nine aircon units simultaneously; five units in the living room, two in the master’s bedroom, and three units in the three remaining rooms. The latter explained that keeping his unit cool helped him a lot after he was diagnosed with liver cancer.
Unfortunately, Huang leaves his unit due to massive complaints he received from his neighbors.
