Markus Paterson revealed his biggest mistake
Actor Markus Paterson regretted going back to the Philippines and here is the reason why he said this.
Markus is one of the rising actors of his generation. When his relationship with actress Janella Salvador was revealed, this surprised many showbiz fans. They now have a son named Jude. However, their breakup created a loud buzz in the industry just recently.
Amid the controversial statement that Markus had regarding the lesson he learned not to have a relationship with someone in showbiz, he stressed that he and Janella remained friends. He also stated that his love and respect for the actress will always be there.
The actor grew up in the U.K. but he decided to go back to the Philippines and he regretted that decision. In a recent vlog, based on the article in Bandera, the actor made revelations about his coming back to the country.
For him, leaving the U.K. and living in the Philippines is his biggest regret because he left his father. “Biggest regret ko in live was making decision to move here in the Philippines, iniwan ko ‘yung tatay ko na matanda na at mag-isa sa UK,” Markus Paterson said.
Because of that decision, he let go of his dream of becoming a pilot and be in the military just like his dad. “As in never talaga akong mangarap na maging artista, mag actor, mag model, maging singer. As in wala talaga akong balak lumipat dito,” the actor explained.
He added that everything just happened so quickly. When he was already in the Philippines, he learned to do different vices, and his mental health was compromised as well. “Why would I waste my mental health on something I don’t see as beneficial to me?” Markus said.
The actor also revealed that his son Jude was the reason why he stayed in the Philippines. He said that without his baby, he would be probably in the U.K. and pursuing his dream to be in the Air Force.
