Zephanie Dimaranan is happy about her current projects
Singer Zephanie Dimaranan expressed how thankful she is for the opportunities given to her by the Kapuso network.
Zephanie won the first season of the Kapamilya singing competition Idol Philippines. However, early this year, the young singer signed a contract with GMA. In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, she said that she is thankful to be part of All-Out Sundays as a mainstay.
She is part of the Queendom segment. “Performing and sharing my talent is a huge part of my musical journey, and the show allows me to do that. I also get to explore different genres,” the young singer said.
Zephanie Dimaranan also highlighted that her AOS family has been very supportive of her. She also became closer to her fellow Kapuso stars in the show.
Since she transferred to GMA, she became the voice of the Kapuso series theme songs. She sang Tunay na Minamahal for Apoy sa Langit series featuring Maricel Laxa, Zoren Legaspi, Lianne Valentino, and Mikee Quintos. Zephanie also sang Kaagapay for Kylie Padilla’s series Bolera with Rayver Cruz and Jak Roberto.
Her new single Luv Is which is a collaboration with the P-pop group VXON will be featured in the series Luv Is: Caught In His Arms.
Aside from her singing career, Zephanie Dimaranan will also venture into acting. “I have to learn when it comes to acting. I’m a shy person, so I was afraid of trying. But now that I’m able to meet different actors, I find that field very interesting,” she said.
Just recently, Zephanie became a trending topic on social media because of the meaningful message that Vice Ganda gave to the new winner of Idol Philippines. He said that the new winner should stay in the Kapamilya network. Fans of Zephanie reacted to this as they defended that ABS-CBN did not renew the singer’s contract.
Veteran entertainment writer Cristy Fermin also defended the Kapuso singer in line with the viral statement from the It’s Showtime host.
