PRINCE WILLIAM’S CHILDREN – Prince George and Princess Charlotte of Wales joined the funeral procession for the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Now is a very sad moment for the Royal Family as they bid goodbye to Queen Elizabeth II. The British monarch who died at the age of 96 in her summer home in Scotland last September 8 reigned for 70 years, the longest in the country’s history. The Queen is laid to rest at the King George VI Memorial Chapel inside the Windsor Castle. Based on an article on GMA News, during the funeral procession, Prince William‘s children Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined the march as it entered Westminster Abbey. Prince George is now the second in line to the throne.

In the Royal Family Line to the Throne, the next monarch of Great Britain is Prince William, the Prince of Wales. He is the eldest son of King Charles III.

Born on June 21, 1982 at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, William Arthur Philip Louis is the eldest son of King Charles III and his late first wife, Princess Diana. He has a younger brother, Prince Harry. They grew up at Kensington Palace in London. His late mother used to call him “Wombat” as she wants him and Harry to have broader life experiences beyond what the members of the Royal Family gets. She would bring them to McDonald’s and Walt Disney World and buy them things enjoyed by ordinary children like video games. However, then Prince Charles and Princess Diana separated. Their marriage was tainted with 3rd party rumors on both sides. A year after his parents separated, his mother died in a car accident.

William went to Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He had also been trained at Royal Military Academy Sanhurst and is a graduate of the Royal Air Force College Cranwell in 2008. From 2015 to 2017, he has served as a full-time pilot of the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

As the Prince, he performs several official duties in behalf of the monarch. He leads several organizations as well including the Centerpoint, The Royal Foundation, Tusk Trust, and London’s Air Ambulance Charity.

Marriage and Children

Prince William and Princess Catherine got engaged in November 2010. He gave her a ring that belonged to his late mother, Princess Diana. Shortly after their engagement, he was announced as the Duke of Cambridge, Baron of Carrickfergus, and Earl of Strathearn.

In April 2011, a grand wedding was held. William’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, gifted them Anmer Hall, a country home on the Sandringham Estate. In 2013, the couple welcomed their first child, a son they named Prince George. Two years after, they were blessed with a daughter, Princess Charlotte. After another two years, they welcomed another member of their growing family – Prince Louis.
