Video of Group of People Beating Helpless Student for Bullying Their Relative Goes Viral

A group of people has been caught on camera beating a helpless student who allegedly bullied their relative.

Over the past few years, bullying is one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually leads victims to depression and further mental problems.

Bullying is an act using force, coercion, or threat, to abuse or dominates someone. It is a repetitive and aggressive behavior intended to hurt another person physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Helpless Student

The Facebook page “Bomb Radyo Koronadal” has shared video footage of a group of people beating a helpless student for bullying their relative. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.

In the video, it can be seen that several male residents were beating a helpless student who can’t even fight due to the massive number of his enemies. Other residents just watched and did not even bother to intervene.

The girl filming the incident can be heard shouting “Patayin niyo, patayin niyo” in Bisaya. After a few moments, the tension subsides and some audiences called the police to stop the commotion.

The incident happened at Surallah, South Cotabato on Tuesday (September 20, 2022).

The video has a caption:

“Kuhang video sa pambubogbog sa isang estudyante nang umanoy magkakamag-anak dahil sa pambubully sa kapwa estudyante nito.

Nangyari ang insidente sa bayan ng Surallah, South Cotabato.”
