Here’s Why Alessandra de Rossi Dropped Out of School
ALESSANDRA DE ROSSI – Filipino-Italian actress Alessandra de Rossi revealed the real reason for dropping out of school.
Many of your favorite celebs never finished college or even high school. Some were child stars, while others simply didn’t feel like higher education was their calling.
One of these celebrities is actress Alessandra de Rossi. She is a well-known actress in the Philippines.
Alessandra de Rossi won the FAMAS Awards for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Azucena. She’s the younger sister of actress Assunta de Rossi.
In the “Cam Cook With Me” segment on Camille Prats’ Youtube channel, Alessandra revealed the real reason why she didn’t finish school and what connection it had with her showbiz career.

Alessandra de Rossi recounted that she found out that acting was really her passion when she chose it over her studies. She said, “Noon, nandiri ako sa school. Ayoko na mag-aral.”
The 38-year-old actress also revealed that her mother was emotional because of her, she told Alessandra that she will regret it in the end. But Alessandra doesn’t really want to study anymore so she focuses on improving her acting skills.
“Ayoko na mag-aral, ‘yun talaga ang totoong reason. Napagod ako. Ayoko nito. Mag-aartista ako, Mommy, gagawin ko ang lahat,” she said.
Alessandra said she felt regret that she was not able to continue her studies when the COVID-19 pandemic started.
“True enough, may pagsisisi. Sometimes, lalo na noong pandemic, noong nari-realize mo na totoo yata ‘yung sinasabi nilang get a real job. Kasi hindi pang-frontliner yung trabaho ko. Hindi ako frontliner. Dapat yata nagtapos ako ng pag-aaral.”
She admitted that she looked for courses online, “Naghanap ako ng courses online. Ang dami, na-overwhelm ako.”
Overwhelmed by the result of her search online, this led to a hilarious Google search.
“Sabi ko, Google na lang natin how to be beautiful because when you’re pretty, the world is nicer to you,” she joked.
