PBBM showed Toni Gonzaga these notorious guest rooms in Malacañang
President Bongbong Marcos (PBBM) shared the story about “ghosts” in Malacañang during the tour he did inside the Palace with actress-host Toni Gonzaga.
On September 13, the birthday of the President, the interview and the Malacañang tour he did with Toni was released. The Chief Executive of the Philippines shared stories about the rooms and the memories that he had there during the time when the Marcos family lived there.
Former President Ferdinand Marcos held the highest government position for 20 years and that was also the period of time when he and his family stayed in the Palace. Practically, PBBM and his siblings grew up inside Malacañang and they have a lot of memories of the place.
At one point, in the tour video, Toni and the President reached the former family dining room of the Marcoses. While Pres. Marcos was facing the two rooms connected to the former dining room, he said, “Those two are guest rooms, diyan marami ‘yung multo.”
Toni said that the Palace is known for ghost stories. The President said that indeed there are ghosts inside the Malacañang. Then, the actress-host asked who are those ghosts. The Chief Executive answered, “Mostly, yung mga lumilitaw, noon panahon ng giyera.”
When asked if he has ghost experience in the Palace, Pres. Marcos said “yes”. He said that he saw it several times. PBBM also shared that inside the Palace there were times that things move on their own.
He also shared that there were times when doors open on their own as well. Then, the President pointed at one of the guest rooms as he said, “this door.” He shared that he stayed in the said guest room for a while when his room was being fixed.
PBBM shared that one time, at about 2 AM and they were just messing around, he was about to hold the door to open it but it opened on its own even before he touched it.
