PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (September 13)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the country will have a fair weather condition after Typhoon Inday leaves PAR.

On Tuesday (September 13, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The localized thunderstorms will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that Typhoon Inday has been last spotted at 550 kilometers northeast of extreme northern Luzon. It has maximum sustained winds of 140 kilometers per hour and gustiness of 170 kph.

Inday is accelerating north northwestward over the East China Sea and may possibly make landfall in the vicinity of Shanghai or Zhejiang along the east coast of China.

“Kasalukuyan po ay wala pong habagat, so inaasahan po natin na magiging maganda at maaliwalas ang panahon sa bansa,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldcazar D. Aurelio said.

Inday’s trough or extension will bring rain showers over parts of the country. The localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, Occidental Mindoro, Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

PAGASA

Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country will experience similar weather condition.

PAGASA also monitors another tropical depression located over the Philippine Sea but still outside PAR, it may enter PAR on Thursday (September 15).

The weather agency has also raised a gale warning over Batanes and Babuyan Islands. Rough coastal water conditions may causes waves that range from 2.8 to 4 meters high.
