Carla Abellana had the chance to be a calendar girl
Kapuso actress Carla Abellana has recently shared her throwback calendar girl photos for the liquor brand Tanduay.
It was been a tradition of liquor companies in the Philippines to feature a calendar girl every year. The chosen celebrity will be featured in printed calendar posters of the brand that will be distributed nationwide.
This year, Tanduay featured Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo as its calendar girl. In an interview for this stint, the former Kapamilya actress said that she was already offered by the company to be its calendar girl back in 2007. However, at that time, she did not feel comfortable doing it yet and so she turned down the offer.
Bea said that this year, she has accepted the offer because she has the confidence that she needed to be a calendar girl. Prior to Bea Alonzo, another Kapuso star who became Tanduay’s calender girl was Carla Abellana.
Carla was featured as the calendar girl of the liquor company back in 2012. Just recently, the actress shared her throwback photos featuring this stint that she did years ago.
These photos of the Kapuso star were shared on a popular showbiz site and netizens have these comments. One said that it seemed like Carla was modeling for a clothing brand.
