Tom Rodriguez is trying his best to forget what happened between him and Carla Abellana
Actor Tom Rodriguez still loves and misses his ex-wife actress Carla Abellana, a friend of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz revealed.
Ogie and his Showbiz Update vlog co-host Mama Loi talked about the recent social media post that Carla shared about her firearm training. They mentioned the comment of a netizen who suggested that the actress should hire security personnel for her safety.
Carla replied to the netizen saying that she already has right now. With this, Mama Loi asked why the actress now has heightened security. “May banta ba sa kaniya?” Ogie’s co-host asked.
The talent manager-vlogger answered that he has no idea about this but he knows one thing. He said that his friend shared with him that Tom Rodriguez still misses Carla Abellana so much. It was also said that the actor was just trying to forget his former partner but still thinks of her once in a while and this makes him cry.
Ogie’s friend also said that some people think that Tom cheated on Carla but this is not true. “Yung friend ko, sabi sa akin eh, ‘hindi Og, talagang mahal pa rin ni Tom si Carla,” the talent manager shared.
However, it was said that the actress wanted the breakup to happen and so the actor can do nothing anymore. Ogie also mentioned that rumors saying that Tom Rodriguez lost P24 million due to an investment scam were not true because this was not the exact amount.
The talent manager also shared that the actor still has an existing contract with GMA Network and if ever there is a good project that will be offered to him, he will return to the Philippines. We went to the States at the height of the issue between him and Carla.
