Oil Firms to Implement Pump Price Rollback This Week
OIL PRICE ROLLBACK – Several oil companies in the country announced another pump price rollback this week.
Over the past few months, the prices of petroleum products play a very important role to the country’s economy. Pump price adjustment usually causes significant impact on prices of products and services in the country.
The consecutive oil price hike during the past few months contribute to the daily burden of Filipino people especially to those who were in public transport sector. Price rollbacks can somehow ease the struggles of Filipino drivers.
The gasoline stations in the country announced another round of rollback on prices of petroleum products including gasoline, diesel, and kerosene. It will mark the second straight week of rollbacks.
Cleanfuel announced a rollback on prices of gasoline by P0.45 per liter, and P1.45 per liter of diesel. The price changes will take effect at 12:01 am on Tuesday (September 13, 2022).
Other gasoline stations have yet to make an announcement later this week. Local companies implemented a price reduction of P2.60 per liter of gasoline, P1.55 per liter of diesel, and P1.60 per liter of kerosene.
The Department of Energy released the year-to-date total adjustments that stand at a net increase of P18.15 per liter of gasoline, P31.70 per liter of diesel, and P27.10 per liter of kerosene as of August 23, 2022.
