Tom Rodriguez is bouncing back after a short break
Kapuso actor Tom Rodriguez shared the status of his career after taking a short break following his breakup with actress Carla Abellana.
Tom took a break from social media, as well as from doing showbiz engagements when his breakup with Carla became the talk of the town and different issues surfaced. The actor is currently staying in the U.S.
In a previous interview, his manager Popoy Caritativo, who is also handling Carla’s showbiz career, shared that the actor is not coming back to the Philippines anytime soon. He will be doing some shows in the States.
Tom Rodriguez is slowly getting back on his feet after the breakup. Based on the article in Balita, many Pinoys saw him during the Miss Philippines USA pageant in San Diego, California in which he was one of the judges.
It was said that this was the first public appearance that the actor had after he arrived in Arizona in March. In an interview, it can be noticed that the actor is skinnier compared to his body when he did his most recent series The World Between Us.
The actor admitted that he misses performing. Aside from being an actor, Tom Rodriguez also sings. “I really miss performing and collaborating, not just with my peers and my predecessors, but also collaborating with the audience you know that the rapport,” he said.
The actor also shared his message to his friends and fans who have shown support for him amid a difficult time. “I’m okay and I really really appreciate the sentiments. I miss all of you guys right back so I can’t wait to see all of you again. Let’s collaborate, let’s work on something—all of us.” he said.
Tom also shared that there are several projects lined up for him. He said that he feels lucky to be part of a series of shows. The actor hopes that he can promote these shows really soon.
