ALLTV is the official name of AMBS 2
Kapamilya and Kapuso stars are expected to transfer to ALLTV, the official name of AMBS 2 or the Advance Media Broadcasting System owned by business tycoon Manny Villar.
The company of the former Senator was able to acquire the frequencies previously owned by ABS-CBN last January. AMBS 2 started the test broadcast already and the official launch is set to happen on September 13.
Previously, veteran TV host Willie Revillame has already signed a contract with the new network for his game show Wowowin: Tutok To Win. Just recently, it was also confirmed that actress-host Toni Gonzaga and her husband director Paul Soriano have signed a contract with Villar’s company. The couple expressed excitement to work with AMBS.
Rumors surfaced previously, that Rated Korina host Korina Sanchez and Anthony Taberna, also known as Ka Tunying, will be the news anchors of the news program on Villar’s network. However, there is no confirmation yet about this, as of the writing.
Based on the article in PEP, it is expected that more Kapamilya and Kapuso stars will be part of ALLTV which has this tagline: “Sana All, Saya All.” Starting September 13, noontime, the public can watch all the programs in the said network.
It was also said that Kuya Wil will be the one who will announce all the shows of AMBS 2 on September 5, 7 p.m. through the live broadcast on Wowowin‘s Facebook Page and YouTube channel. He will also reveal the stars who will join the AMBS family.
Entertainment columnist Jojo Gabinete said that this will be surprising as many talents from ABS-CBN and GMA are not expected to switch networks. The official logo of ALLTV used orange and green colors, the colors used by Manny Villar.
