Janella Salvador Says Valentina’s Costume In Recent Episode Not “Final”
JANELLA SALVADOR – Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador hinted that Valentina’s costume in the recent episode is not “final.”
Janella Salvador currently stars as Valentina, whose alter ego is the lawyer and vlogger Regina Vanguardia, in Kapamilya’s superhero series“Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series.”
The actress appears in it alongside Jane de Leon (Darna/Narda) and Joshua Garcia (Brian Robles), Zaijian Jaranilla (Ding), Rio Locsin (Narda’s Grandmother), among others. The show premiered last August 15.
The second episode showed the death of the first Darna (Iza Calzado), the reunion of Narda and her former classmate Brian and the first meeting between Regina and Narda.
The 24-year-old celebrity recently channeled the feistiness of her character, Valentina, in a recent photo shoot for a Metro Magazine cover. Janella donned various Valentina-inspired outfits for her shoot.
Janella finally made her transformation during the episode of Darna yesterday, September 1, wherein her character feels like her efforts to stop a suicide bomber were blocked by Darna coming to the rescue.

Given her frustrations, pressure to impress her father (Richard Quan), and worries about being blamed for the death of an alleged smuggler, she listens to the voices in her head and transforms into Valentina.
Janella’s version of Valentina features iconic snake eyes, scaly green skin, and snakes for hair while wearing a dark-colored cape. Shortly after the episode ended, the Kapamilya star said that her costume in the episode is not “final.”
“Special announcement for the vadengs (gays): That wasn’t V’s final costume. Don’t worry. We [got you],” Janella said.
