Heaven Peralejo talked about her acting career
Actress Heaven Peralejo admitted that she needs to go through a lot and experience more when it comes to her acting career.
Heaven started her journey in showbiz after joining the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother in 2016. From that, she was given opportunities to be part of various TV shows and movies.
Among the recent acting stints that she did was an episode of the longest-running drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya. The actress said that she has done about five or six episodes for the show that is hosted by Charo Santos.
In an interview, based on the article in PUSH, Heaven Peralejo said that MMK has a different heart in it. The shoot would last for several days and it is intense as she has to give justice to the role.
However, despite the number of episodes she did, the actress said that she is far from getting to her goal when it comes to acting. “I still think na papunta pa lang ako dun, madami pa akong pagdadaanan kumbaga. Siguro hindi naman dahil naka-MKK na ako, I can call myself as an actress,” she said.
Heaven said that she always says yes every time she received an offer to do a san episode for MMK. Through her acting stint in this show, she is being challenged and pushed to her limit. For her, this show is her lucky charm because every time she finishes an episode, projects are lining up for her.
“So sana every year may MMK ako,” the Kapamilya actress jokingly said. She also said that she is happy to work with different actors and directors. “I’m just happy and lucky na binigyan nila ako ng platform to showcase my creativity,” Heaven Peralejo said.
In portraying a character, the 22-year-old actress said that she is like a blank slate and she is molding the character depending on the story.
