Heaven Peralejo did an MMK episode with Markus Paterson
Kapamilya actress Heaven Peralejo talked about her friendship with actor Markus Paterson and the time that it fell off.
Heaven started her career in the entertainment industry when she joined the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother in 2016. That opened the doors for her acting career. Her recent project is an episode of the longest-running drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya with Markus.
She shared that being friends with Markus for five years gave her a certain easiness in working with him. “Paglabas ko ng PBB siya yung unang friend ko and we’ve been friends for a long time although nagkaroon ng fall-off,” Heaven Peralejo said, based on the article in PUSH.
The actress understands that at times, this situation happens when people grow older. There was a time when they were no longer talking to each other and their new chapters in their lives individually. When they shot for their MMK episode, they were able to talk and reconnect as if there was no falling out that happened.
Heaven shared that she and Markus talked about life like they were 17 years old again but in a mature way. “Nag-usap din kami about sa past namin, kumusta na, ganyan ganyan. And nakakatuwa lang na parang siguro nga everything happens for a reason,” the actress shared.
She added that it went with perfect timing and they worked smoothly. It also helped that they did acting workshops together before and so it was easy for them to do their scenes together.
Meanwhile, when asked if she prefers to be in a love team or go on with her solo career, Heaven Peralejo said that she is open to having an onscreen partner. If it will be with Markus Paterson, there will be no problem because she trusts him. However, it is fine with her as well to go solo in order to be a versatile actress.
