Here are some revelations from Regine Velasquez about their family’s unconventional but harmonious setup.

When it comes to maturity and open-mindedness, Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid‘s ex-wife Michelle van Eimeren surely are among the champions. Their blended family is quite a unique setup and they are among those that many people are admired.
Despite their past, the two of them remained friends. They are the past and present of Alcasid but the two were able to find a common ground where they found peace by being friends and by having a good relationship.
And most of it all, Regine credits Michelle for it and also her husband. They have accordingly worked out everything for them to make whatever relationship they have now happened.
“Maraming beses niyang kinausap si Michelle. Then finally, nung feeling niya puwede na akong ipasok, sinama niya ako sa Australia. Michelle and I were able to talk. Nag-iyakan. Walang panunumbat whatsoever,” she shared.
She then added that Michelle did not say anything bad or some sort of “panunumbat”. She accepted what has taken place and expressed that it wasn’t about her, it was between her and Ogie.
Regine was, at first, hesitant to meet her but thought otherwise when they finally saw each other. She was welcomed by Michelle with the “biggest hug” and it made her feel alright. The way she treated her gave her an assuring feeling that it was all going to be okay and that they were going to be a family.
To which they eventually did.
Accordingly, Michelle insisted that they should be working for their blended family out for the sake of the children. Ogie and Michelle have two daughters and she and Ogie have a son.
“Like I said ang key talaga is si Michelle. She is a very loving person. And she loved me. Mas mahal pa nga niya ako kesa kay Ogie, e. Ngayon, ha?” she said.
